One of the reasons why we read the Bible is so that our minds may be renewed, so that we would be sucessful in what we do. Hence the good feeling you get when you’re done doing that. Also if one doesn’t know the promises in the Bible then how can one trust God for things? Read the Bible and you joy would gradually exceed your misery
